The expansion of Granite's North American facility is nearly complete, and we can't wait to expand our capabilities. The 20,000 square feet of new space will allow us to build more larger assemblies, including carts, cabinets, and turnkey products. Occupancy is scheduled for the end of March, and we look forward to accomodating continued growth. Thanks to all Granite customers for making twice the space a requirement!

Some Examples of Our Work
As the Premier Outsourcing Partner for OEMs,
Granite OEMSystems has solved problems for countless partners.

Below are a few examples of some of the ways we have saved the OEM time, trouble, and most critically, money.
This all-in-one panel PC was developed with the medical market in mind. Compact and very usable, variations of this embedded computer can be tailored to your needs. Perfect for applications that require ruggedness with superior cleaning ability.
Cabinets – a specialty of Granite – can be developed to accomplish a myriad of technical challenges. Often, electrical components can be manufactured as part of the cabinet for reduced part count and increased reliability. Cabinet components are manufactured by Granite in both North America and Asia for the best balance of cost, lead time and logistics ease.
Complete medical device manufacturing is a strength of Granite OEMSystems. Whether you need a small handheld battery operated device or a large complex cabinet full of electronic and mechanical challenges, the internal engineering resources can help you rethink your requirements by leveraging our full complement of experience.
The functionality of I/O requirements can often be reviewed for creation of the best solution. Eliminating the need for several traditional expansion cards, this custom PCB gave the customer a smaller overall envelope and offered a managed lifecycle that allowed them to concentrate on developing software rather than dealing with traditional roadmaps and end-of-life issues.
With Granite, you also get extremely solid knowledge in embedded computing solutions. Most equipment these days incorporates some level of computing power. Granite’s internal expertise can overcome the most difficult computing challenges to bring the best possible solution to market for the OEM.
Sometimes the smaller components can present the toughest challenge. Battery packs, inductor coils, certification requirements are some of the things at the forefront of Granite’s design capabilities.
Solid state is the next big thing in small packages. Granite has experience designing and manufacturing solid state systems for a variety of applications. Your systems MTBF goes up, acoustics become a nonissue and the applications and opportunities grow exponentially.

Mobile applications are sure to continue to present new opportunities for products, many of which have yet to be discovered.
